Heat Treatment / Plasma Technician (Aerospace / Manufacturing / Precision)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of duties to plan, set up, mask, and spray parts to meet production requirements
• Mask and/or grit blast part to prepare for coating
• Use judgement in determining proper flow and speed of spray for the best results and compliance with all specifications
• Operate vacuum furnaces to perform heat-treat and brazing operations
• Maintain heat-treating logs for all furnaces and parts
• Ability to use various instrument to measure incoming and final coating thickness after plasma spray
• Follow work instructions, comply with all quality requirements and safety rules and regulations during course of duties
• Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area
• Complete production paper work and systems transactions

Requirements:

• Nitec in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in aerospace industry.
• Rotating shift is required.

Salary: $2,000 to $3,500
