Purchasing Engineer (Semiconductor Fabrication Parts)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Source and qualify new suppliers for fabrication and structural components used in semiconductor or automation equipment (e.g. precision machining, enclosures, sheet metal, frameworks).
• Evaluate supplier performance, capacity, and capability to support business growth and maintain high quality, cost, and delivery standards.
• Drive cost optimisation and supplier development initiatives for both existing and new vendors.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and share procurement expertise to strengthen overall team competency.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement of fabrication or precision mechanical parts in the Semiconductor/Automation industry.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong integrity, communication, and teamwork skills.

Salary: $3,500 to $4,800
