Mechanical Engineer (Tuas, Manufacturing / Precision Engineering)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review technical drawings and specifications to support fabrication and production requirements.
• Prepare material lists and select suitable components or vendor parts for manufacturing use.
• Investigate production challenges and work with shopfloor teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Provide practical alternatives or adjustments to improve manufacturing flow and efficiency.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams on technical matters while ensuring output meets required quality standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of machining and metal fabrication processes.
• Familiar with design or machining software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MasterCAM, UG)

Salary: $3,000 to $4,500
