Lead SEO Strategist (Digital Marketing Agency)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of SEO specialists to achieve defined performance targets and maintain delivery standards.
• Design and execute end-to-end SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical optimisation across client portfolios.
• Drive Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives by optimising content for AI-driven search platforms and large language model environments.
• Conduct site audits, interpret findings, and translate them into actionable optimisation roadmaps and backlink strategies.
• Manage client engagement activities, including presentations, reporting, and alignment of SEO/GEO strategies with business objectives.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of SEO experience with leadership or team management capacity.
• Strong command of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, including auditing, content optimisation, and link-building strategies.
• Familiarity with AI search ecosystems and GEO concepts across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Proven experience handling multiple client accounts and collaborating across sales, account management, and creative teams.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush, with strong reporting capability.

Salary: $4,500 to $5,500
