Patient Therapy Support Officer (Healthcare, Class 3)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering prescribed therapy programmes for individual and group sessions under supervision.
• Observe and report patient responses during sessions, including physical and behavioural changes.
• Prepare therapy areas, materials, and equipment, ensuring a safe and organised environment.
• Coordinate patient transport arrangements, including safe driving, route planning, escort coordination, and vehicle upkeep.

Requirements:

• Certification in Therapy Support Services or NITEC in Community Care / Social Services
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or patient care environment.
• Responsible, patient-focused, and committed to maintaining safety and dignity in care delivery.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a care team.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.

Salary: $2,000 to $3,000
