Electrical Service Engineer (Marine)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve electrical anomalies onboard vessels, ensuring seamless operations.
• Perform specialized testing and recalibration of gas detection systems in workshop environments.
• Guide and oversee external contractors to uphold technical excellence and compliance standards.
• Support fleet operations by facilitating the procurement of essential electrical components.
• Deliver thorough reports outlining work completed and technical insights.

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec in Electrical/Mechatronic or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a Marine Service Engineer.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong understanding of shipboard electrical systems, including engine control and alarm systems, fire alarm systems, CO₂/water mist systems, OWS/ODME systems, Ballast Water Management Systems, and cargo monitoring systems.

Salary: $3,500 to $4,500
