Firmware Engineer (Semiconductor)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop firmware infrastructure, libraries, and cost-effective solutions to meet product quality, test efficiency, manufacturing yield, and diagnostic requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, design, software, verification, characterization, and test development) to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues on simulation, bench, and ATE platforms, quickly identifying root causes to ensure minimal turnaround time (TAT).
• Deliver robust firmware solutions on schedule, contributing to timely product releases while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong knowledge in C programming, debugging for embedded systems, and familiarity with Linux and scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl).
• Experience with FPGA design, bare-metal firmware, and knowledge of AXI/APB protocols and Verilog RTL.

Salary: $5,800 to $7,000
