Procurement Manager (Container Shipping)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle the regional procurement team in their day-to-day activities.
• Responsible for placing supplier agreements in consideration of sales and operations requirements.
• Create and expand relationships with existing and new suppliers and perform research on market development on suppliers.
• Manage all rate negotiations with the suppliers and explore other opportunities to make optimal use of the suppliers’ portfolio.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• At least 5 years of procurement experience in container shipping (shipping/freight forwarding).
• Strong market knowledge in sea freights and transportation.
• Proven leadership skills with good negotiation and analytical skills.

Salary: $6,500 to $8,500
